Examinations
There is a WACE examination for each course.
Students enrolled in a pair of units in Stage 2 or Stage 3 courses must sit the examination in that course, unless exempt. If they do not make a genuine attempt in the course examination in Year 12, the grades for the pair of units completed in that year will not contribute to the C grade average.
ATAR and TAFE
An Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) is calculated using the school assessment and WACE examination results combined.
