VET industry specific courses
The Council has collaborated with schools and industry to develop ten VET industry specific courses. The most current training packages have been used in their development. Current training packages can be found at http://training.gov.au/
The eleven VET industry specific courses that have been accredited by the Curriculum Council and can be delivered by schools in 2011 are listed below.

VET industry specific courses are developed by the Curriculum Council. Each includes that uses a training package qualification in which competency electives maybe prescribed.
To meet VET industry specific course requirements and achieve course unit credit towards a WACE, students must attain a full qualification as outlined in the course and fulfill the work placement requirement.
Any schools wishing to offer a VET industry specific course should contact the Curriculum Council.
