Membership of examining groups for 2012 WACE examinations
General information
The School Curriculum and Standards Authority seeks applications from current and retired teachers and TAFE and university lecturers to participate in the development of the 2012 WACE examinations.
Positions available for Stage 2 and Stage 3 examining groups are:
- Coordinating examiner (This person will also be the chief examiner for either Stage 2 or Stage 3 of a course.)
- Chief examiner
- Examiner
- Independent reviewer
- Final checker
The Authority is seeking applicants with at least five years of experience in teaching and assessment, an excellent understanding of exam-setting techniques and familiarity with the syllabus to be examined in 2012 in the relevant course.

Applications must be received at the School Curriculum and Standards Authority no later than 5pm on Friday 28 October 2011.
Appointment to positions will be finalised by 15 November 2011.
